Participation is open to any Autonomous System* that wishes to exchange Internet traffic in an IX.br location.

1. Select the PIX (IXP - Interconnection Point) you want to use from the list below. Remember that there is the possibility of participating in IX.br using a CIX (Shared Port Provider) as well.
2. Contact the chosen PIX to negotiate how your physical connection will take place. Note that each PIX has specific rules for its use and there may be charges from the responsible companies or institutions.
3. Once the PIX has been chosen, also request your new port in the "Activation, migration or expansion" option on my.ix.br. If you don't have an user on my.ix.br yet, you need to create one and link it to your ASN. Participation on IX.br requires signing a legal agreement and compliance with certain technical requirements. In some locations, such as São Paulo/SP, Rio de Janeiro/RJ and Fortaleza/CE, there are costs for participation.
